Help / Mobile / Stations and ProgrammesHow can I play BBC podcasts on my mobile phone? If you have a mobile phones which is capable of storing and playing MP3s you will be able to play BBC podcasts. Via a USB leadThe simplest way is to connect your phone to your computer using a USB lead, and then 'drag and drop' MP3 files across from one device to the other. Many phones are supplied with a USB lead, but if you are in any doubt, consult your phone's user manual. On a memory cardIf you phone has a removable memory card (e.g. a micro or mini SD card) you could remove this, and insert it into your computer or laptop, if it has a card reader. You should then be able to drag and drop podcast MP3 files as described above. When you re-insert the memory card into your phone, you should be able to browse and play them. Sync between phone and computerYou may be able to synchronize your mobile phone with your computer so that any podcasts you have subscribed to on the computer are automatically copied to your phone. Generally this requires special software, and you should consult your phone's manual or contact the manufacturer for more help. Using your phone's browserIf your phone's has a web browser that supports XHTML, you may be able to go to the normal BBC website and download the podcast over the air. However, it's important that you check your data tariff with your mobile operator as this might be expensive. iPhone usersIf you have an iPhone, you can now browse and play all BBC podcasts simply by visiting bbc.co.uk/podcasts on your phone.
