Why have you removed the music from some podcasts?

Unfortunately, the rights situation is very complex around the use of music within podcasts. Currently, this means we do not offer any podcasts containing full length commercial tracks.

However, we do now offer short clips of commercial music within some podcasts, although these are restricted to users in the UK for rights reasons.

A number of BBC podcasts containing full length songs from unsigned artists are also available.

If this does not answer your question sufficiently you may find more help on the pages linked to from the right hand side.
