Synopsis:

Celebrated documentary filmmaker Christopher Nupen's award-winning film follows the development of Amman-born pianist, conductor and composer Karim Said. Filmed over a seven-year period, it tracks Said's progress from the age of 11 to 17.

A protégé of renowned conductor Daniel Barenboim, Said is recognised as a major musical talent and has already received eight international prizes, while the documentary itself was the winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Palermo Festival.
